Dane Hucey is Jamaican born and raised in the parish of St Andrew, Jamaica. His love for art started early and carried on through high school as one of his favourite subjects at his alma mater, Wolmer’s Boys School. Over time, he developed his self-taught curiosity into a passion for digital fine art photography. This was later moulded under the tutelage of Donnette Zacca, who he met at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts.

Hucey’s photography is an outlet for his developing creative abilities and the platform to continue capturing imagery of Jamaica, its culture, countrymen and hidden treasures.
